Police spokesperson Harish Bhardwaj said women police station have registered a case on the complaint of the 52-year-old woman guest teacher of a government school under Section 354-A (sexual harassment) and 354-D (stalking) of the IPC against a guest teacher.
In her police complaint, the woman teacher alleged that the accused had been making wrong gestures for the past five-six months. She objected several times, but he did not mend his ways, she added.
She alleged that on February 2, a school official gave lift to her and the accused. As he misbehaved, she grabbed his neck and told him to stop. She also told the whole story to the official. Later, she informed her husband about the matter, she added.
Police registered a case 10 days after receiving the complaint.
