Girish Gandhi was also present on the occasion. Prateek Vitadkar hosted the ceremony.
Reviewing ‘Naatya Prasang’ Aparajit said, “Vidarbha’s rich history and key developments have been explained in the book in a lucid manner. It is hard to find books where the past is so intrinsically described. People aspiring to know more about Vidarbha and Aligarh should read the book.”
About ‘Theatre of the Absurd’, Shailesh Pande opined, “The book is all about the human behaviour. All kinds of feelings, along with the two sides of a person is delicately explained in the book. The book explains the kind of behaviour that children and adults in the current era are exhibiting.”
Sharing his views, on drama, Vitadkar said, “A drama requires presence of mind as well as understanding of timing and actions. One cannot act without having practised, neither can one be perfect in front of the audience while the play is in motion. A good actor needs to persevere his skills to perform on the stage.”
Pawde, a writer, play director, editor and journalist, shared his life journey, struggles and passion on the occasion. “Any dream can be achieved irrespective of the level of difficulties which come in the way,” were his words.
