A day after the city recorded its hottest April day in the past three years, the maximum temperature dropped to 31.5 degrees Celsius on Tuesday, seven points below normal.
Cloudy sky prevailed since the wee hours on Tuesday. There was a mild dust storm in the morning followed by a light drizzle. However, the previous night was hot with minimum temperature having been recorded at 26.4 degree Celsius, five degrees above normal.
