Nitin Jain, 40, said he often visits Delhi for business. In the morning of April 12, he reached Delhi and was supposed to return by evening by train. However, as his seat wasn’t confirmed, he took a bus from Delhi to Ludhiana. In the bus, the fellow passenger started a conversation with him.
“The man asked me my name, city, business and how would I travel home after reaching Ludhiana. I told him that my car is parked at the railway station. Thereafter, I don’t know when I fell unconscious,” he alleged.
“When I gained consciousness, I found myself at Sherpur Chowk in Ludhiana. I don’t remember how I reached the railway station. There when the parking worker asked for payment, I noticed that my mobile, gold ornaments and Rs 15,000 were missing,” added Jain. He said, “I have checked the CCTV footage where I am seen walking alone towards my car. But I could not recollect anything.”
